THANK YOU TO OUR
Congressman Blake Moore Introduces New Savings Tool for Families

Congressman Blake Moore was joined by community leaders and families at an event hosted by the Boys & Girls Club of Northern Utah to introduce a new savings tool created under last year’s Working Families Tax Cuts. The information session held at the Box Elder Community Campus was on Wednesday, June 17 and included discussions on the importance of financial literacy and planning for our children’s financial future. Congressman Moore championed the legislation which officially begins on July 4, 2026.
“I hope that all of you will go out and get your children, your grandchildren signed up for an account,” Rep. Blake Moore said. “This is a major shift in how our country is looking at taking care of the next generation – providing a way for them to create their own path from infancy. I’m so excited about this.”
People can sign up at InvestAmerica.org or TrumpAccounts.gov, or through the associated app. Eligible children will be able to receive contributions from parents, relatives, employers, and other approved sources. As a part of a pilot program, children born between January 1, 2025, and December 31, 2028, will receive an initial $1,000 contribution from the U.S. Department of the Treasury.
