2008 Youth of the Year - Bill Aldrich

Bill Aldrich was presented with The Boys & Girls Club of Brigham City – Bear River’s Youth of the Year at a statewide breakfast event sponsored by Energy Solutions. The award is given to outstanding club members who demonstrate service to their club, community, family and school. The award was presented by Senator Pete Knudson along with a letter of recognition from his office. In attendance were all of Box Elder’s state representatives including Rhonda Menlove and Ben Ferry. The Brigham City – Bear River Club was the only one with all of their state elected officials present. Mayor LouAnn Christensen also attended with Club Board Members Joan Hammer and Monica Holdaway. Rod Zundel of KSL News and Sports also came to support the Brigham City – Bear River Club and their Youth of the Year. Billy has been a Club member for 6 years, is a Sophomore and participates in Drama at Box Elder High School. He has volunteered countless hours at both Club and community events over the past years. Billy receives a $500 scholarship for his efforts.
